About the Role
As a Site Grading Supervisor, you will lead high-impact earthwork operations, ensuring project precision and safety excellence. You will leverage your expertise in heavy civil construction and GPS-guided grading to drive site productivity and meet rigorous engineering specifications.
Responsibilities-
Direct daily crew activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance coaching to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Execute complex grading plans, including setting up cuts and fills, managing haul routes, and coordinating with inspectors to verify compliance.

Maintain high safety standards by conducting regular orientations, site indoctrinations, and proactive hazard mitigation.

Oversee the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery, ensuring equipment is utilized efficiently to meet production targets.

Track and report on project progress, material usage, and labor hours to support accurate budget and schedule management.

Interpret detailed construction drawings and specifications to guide the team in achieving precise rough and fine grading results.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on earthwork and site development.

Proven ability to utilize GPS equipment, rotating lasers, and cut sheets for accurate grade checking.

Strong leadership skills with at least 3 years of experience supervising crews and subcontractors.

Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office, for reporting and communication.

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.

Physical capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

High school diploma or equivalent educational background.

In-depth knowledge of DOT standards and regulatory compliance.

Experience training personnel on the safe and efficient operation of heavy earthmoving equipment.
