The ideal candidate will have a background in concrete work, with the ability to execute various finishing techniques and ensure high-quality results. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up concrete forms according to specifications.
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using various tools and equipment.
- Level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete using straight edge and float or power screed
- Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel, broom, swirl, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish
- Finish poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Apply curing compounds to protect the surface of the concrete.
- Ensure proper alignment and grading of concrete surfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Loads, transports, and unloads tools, equipment, and supplies required for each project.
Qualifications
- Prior concrete or construction experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work well with others and show up on time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $38.00 per hour
