Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support for desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of Windows 11 operating systems, including imaging, updates, and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues such as computer hardware failures and equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Resolve software problems related to operating systems, applications like Microsoft Office, and other productivity tools through effective troubleshooting techniques.
- Manage help desk tickets using systems such as ServiceNow or , documenting issues clearly and following up to ensure timely resolution.
- Support network connectivity issues including LAN/WAN, VPN access, firewall configurations, TCP/IP settings, DNS resolution, and network troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams on tasks involving Active Directory management, (), for software deployment, and computer management tasks.
- Assist in maintaining security protocols by supporting firewall configurations and network administration practices like or BMC Remedy.
- Contribute to the maintenance of IT assets by supporting hardware inventory management and equipment troubleshooting efforts.
- Communicate effectively with users at all levels to deliver exceptional customer service while explaining technical solutions clearly.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11), , and environments.
- Proven experience in technical support roles with help desk systems such as ServiceNow or .
- Expertise in computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN setup, firewall configuration, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Active Directory management, GPOs (), (), and Windows Server environments.
- Skilled in hardware support—troubleshooting computer hardware components and peripherals—and software troubleshooting across various applications.
- Experience supporting mobile devices and operating systems with a focus on seamless integration into existing IT infrastructure.

- Analysis skills necessary for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions efficiently.
