Job Opportunity #1: Custodian / Janitor Minimum Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Willingness to learn and accept responsibility
- Previous experience preferred
- Ability to pass district-required drug screening
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Negative Drug Test
- Fingerprints
Essential Functions:
- Remove litter and waste from classrooms, offices, and grounds
- Maintain carpets and other floor surfaces
- Clean windows, fixtures, blinds, hallways, storage rooms, and restrooms
- Perform minor maintenance repairs to buildings and equipment
- Report repair needs and malfunctions
- Attend professional development activities as required
- Follow district policies, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines
Job Opportunity #2: Cafeteria / Food Service Worker Minimum Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to work well with others
- Basic cooking skills
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Negative Drug Test
- Fingerprints
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve nutritious, attractive meals in a clean and friendly environment
- Assist the cook and cafeteria manager as assigned
- Clean tables, kitchen areas, and dining spaces
- Operate dishwashing equipment
- Receive and store food items properly
- Maintain storage and inventory areas
- Keep trash and garbage areas clean and sanitary
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
