Join our family-oriented program as an Xcel Team Homeschool Coach (Daytime), where you will inspire and guide young athletes. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help children develop essential skills while learning gymnastics.
Duties
- Lead and supervise children during activities, and skill-building sessions.
- Design age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules, monitoring behavior, and managing group dynamics effectively.
- Provide instruction in technique and form.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among children of various skill levels.
- Maintain equipment and facility safety standards while preparing activity spaces for daily use.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding progress, behavior management strategies, and upcoming events.
Skills
- Proven experience in gymnastics as an athlete and/or coach.
- Strong background in gymnastics is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with children and manage diverse behavior patterns with patience and professionalism.
- Experience in teaching physical education or sports to young learners.
- Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with team members.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engaging activities that promote physical health and social development.
