BroadPharm is a rapidly growing biotechnology company based in San Diego, dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and global supply of antibody-drug conjugation (ADC) linkers, PEG linkers, drug delivery lipids, and other biochemical products. We are seeking a highly motivated research chemist to join our dynamic organic chemistry team.
Responsibilities
- Perform NMR for the chemistry team
- Design synthetic route and execute organic syntheses as well as purification of advanced organic biochemical products, use latest scientific advances and creative solutions to solve challenging synthetic issues;
- Contribute to scientific and technical discussions with co-workers and clients to plan, execute, resolve issues;
- Prioritize the chemistry efforts to ensure timeline adherence and project alignment to meet group and company goals.
Qualifications
- A MS/ BS degree in Organic Chemistry with minimum 2-5 years of lab experience;
- Knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry, analytical methods (especially NMR, LC/MS) and characterization of compounds;
- Great organizational skills, with ability to successfully manage multiple priorities;
- Strong oral and written communications skills;
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with proven ability to work independently;
- Highly proficient in office software, such as Word, Excel, and Chemdraw.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
