American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department (Oncology Pod) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, Epic proficiency, and prior travel nursing experience.

Oncology Pod Emergency Department setting within a hospital

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Patient ratio of 1:4

Epic EMR experience required

Telemetry monitoring experience required
-
Floating required as part of the assignment

Active Ohio or Compact RN license required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS

Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required

Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required

Proficiency in IV starts required

Oncology experience preferred but not required
-
2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; no coworker references accepted

Local candidates are accepted

Former employees of this facility are eligible after a minimum 6-month separation

RTO must be submitted at the time of application and built into the contract; RTO is limited to 7 consecutive days or fewer for the duration of the contract

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after booking — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet to complete urgently
