Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations through bussing, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Assist in food preparation tasks including assembling orders, portioning ingredients, and managing inventory levels.
- Support team members in all aspects of fast-food service to ensure quick turnaround times and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
