Our client, a leader in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Ayer, MA
Pay Range: $21.26
Shift: 1-9 pm, 8 hours per shift
What's the Job?
- Conduct in-process quality checks on finished goods according to established protocols.
- Complete all sections of audit documentation accurately and submit reports to management.
- Perform independent quality checks on critical-to-quality characteristics during production runs.
- Identify process gaps, non-conformances, and quality risks, escalating issues promptly.
- Support production teams by providing quality feedback and assisting with machine setup or readiness as needed.
What's Needed?
- Understanding of manufacturing quality systems and quality control practices.
- Knowledge of non-conforming material handling procedures and corrective actions.
- Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and objectively during audits.
- Experience in quality audits, inspections, or quality assurance activities is preferred.
