Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for over-the-road (OTR) deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
- Load, secure, and verify shipments to ensure proper delivery order and safety during transit
- Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations with professionalism and excellent customer service skills
- Route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery paths and managing time effectively
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, heavy lifting, and organizing freight as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports throughout each shift
Qualifications
- Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and load & unload procedures
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries
- Experience with warehouse operations including moving freight, heavy lifting, forklift operation (certification preferred), and pallet jack use
- Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks safely
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules efficiently

Pay: $150.00 - $250.00 per day
