We're looking for a compassionate, energetic, Certified Veterinary Technician who wants to be part of building something truly special from the very beginning.
About You
You are someone who:
- Is a Certified or Licensed Veterinary Technician in Florida.
- Has a genuine love for dogs and treats every one like family.
- Remains calm and confident in emergency situations.
- Notices the little things before they become big problems.
- Enjoys educating pet parents and supporting their peace of mind.
- Believes exceptional care and exceptional customer service go hand in hand.
- Loves working as part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health and well-being of all dogs in our care.
- Perform daily wellness assessments.
- Administer medications as directed.
- Recognize early signs of illness, injury, or stress.
- Maintain accurate medical and daycare records.
- Assist with intake evaluations.
- Communicate professionally with pet parents regarding their dog's health.
- Help create safe playgroups based on temperament, size, and energy level.
- Assist with enrichment activities and daily routines.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies until veterinary care is obtained.
- Support the development of health and safety protocols as our business grows.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Certified/Licensed Veterinary Technician credential.
- Experience working with companion animals.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and remain active throughout the day.
- Positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
