Position Overview
- Specialty: Critical Care Float RN
- Location: Newark, NJ
- Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Per Diem Position
- Minimum Commitment: 4 Shifts Per Month
- Opportunity to Pick Up Additional Shifts
Float Requirements:
- ICU
- CCU
- CTICU
- Step-Down Units
- ICU Holding Patients in ED Areas (No Active ED Assignments)
Minimum Requirements
- Active New Jersey or Compact RN License
- Minimum 1.5 Years of Acute Care Critical Care Experience
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- EPIC Experience
- Strong Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills
- Ventilator Management Experience
- Arterial Line Management Experience
- ABG Interpretation Skills
- Dysrhythmia Interpretation and Management
- IV Therapy and Phlebotomy Experience
