Schedule: Night Shift — Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
The Tissue Distribution Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the accurate, compliant, and timely distribution of tissue and related products to UTR Group, LLC clients. This role serves as a key point of contact throughout the distribution process, ensuring inventory availability, order accuracy, product traceability, and adherence to applicable regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards. Working within a highly regulated healthcare environment, the Tissue Distribution Coordinator supports operational excellence through accurate documentation, inventory coordination, customer support, and the safe and efficient distribution of tissue products.
Core Responsibilities

Assist customers with product selection and inventory allocation.

Process and fulfill tissue orders, including packaging, shipment, delivery, and required documentation.

Receive and inspect tissue products to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.

Maintain accurate records and complete data entry in a timely manner.

Monitor inventory levels and support inventory counts and reconciliation activities.

Review documentation for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as appropriate.

Coordinate shipments and deliveries with internal and external partners.

Adhere to all applicable regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.

Support operational reporting and assist with identifying trends and process improvements.

Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.

Maintain departmental responsiveness and operational continuity through participation in the rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent credential required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general business software applications.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory management, distribution, logistics, materials management, warehouse operations, or a related field, preferably within a regulated or quality-controlled environment.
Additional Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must possess and maintain a valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Must provide proof of insurability and maintain eligibility to operate company vehicles.

Must be able to participate in the department's on-call rotation.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Lift and transport containers weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.

Operate a company vehicle for extended periods of time.

Travel throughout the assigned service area.

Work in both office and field environments, including hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Handle products stored using dry ice, wet ice, and liquid nitrogen.

Work outside of normal business hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.

Maintain visual acuity sufficient to review documentation, labels, inventory records, and system information.

Work independently during overnight shifts with limited direct supervision.
