Position to be filled in the area of Heber Springs AR.
We are looking to hire a part-time Property Maintenance Technician to be a part of PDC Companies that will perform maintenance at our managed property in Heber Springs, AR. (20-25 hours per week) Position requires maintenance technician to be on-call to service after-hours emergency maintenance when necessary. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Key duties include:
· Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents which includes painting, general repairs, etc.
· Flooring installation
· Completing work orders in a timely manner
· Performing preventative maintenance
· HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
· Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
· Lock installation and repairs
· Maintaining property grounds and common areas
· Minor plumbing and carpentry
· Appliance installation and repairs
· On call for emergency calls after hours
· Other duties as assigned/needed
Desired Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Valid driver’s license
· General maintenance experience
· Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry
· Willing to be on-call
· Must pass background check and be able to be bonded
