We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our culinary team.
Job Summary: As a Line Cook at Columbine Bar & Grill, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking our menu items to the highest standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that each dish is prepared with precision and served in a timely manner. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for cooking. Previous experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef
- Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Assist in prepping ingredients and stocking kitchen supplies as needed
- Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
