Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions and cash register operations
- Handle cash handling duties accurately, including cash drawer handling and basic math calculations for transactions
- Upsell additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and participate in merchandising efforts to keep the store inviting and well-presented
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person with clear communication skills
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking new merchandise and conducting stock checks
- Supervise or support team members as needed, demonstrating supervising experience to foster a collaborative environment
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong communication skills and friendly phone etiquette to engage customers effectively
- Ability to perform retail sales tasks confidently, including upselling and product demos
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for connecting with diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash register operations, cash handling, and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences
- Familiarity with stock management, inventory procedures, and basic retail math calculations
