Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting on-site and laboratory testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control protocols. Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests on construction materials such as concrete, soil, asphalt, and masonry to verify their properties and suitability for project requirements.
- Conduct field inspections at construction sites to monitor material placement, curing processes, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collect and document data related to material performance, test results, and site conditions with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in quality control processes by inspecting masonry work, concrete forming, and other construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Support construction inspection efforts by verifying that materials meet contractual requirements and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, inspection reports, and site observations for project documentation and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and engineers to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
Skills
- Laboratory experience with testing construction materials such as concrete, soil, asphalt, or masonry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes including concrete forming, masonry techniques, and general site operations.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and quality inspection methods within the construction industry.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data accurately for reporting purposes.
- Experience with construction site inspections to ensure safety protocols and contractual compliance are followed.
- Familiarity with contracts related to construction materials testing and inspection services.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
