About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Optical Dispenser to join our team. Whether you're local to Nevada or considering a move from a neighboring state, this is a great opportunity to be part of a welcoming, high-performing optical office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescriptions, style, and lifestyle
- Take precise measurements for proper fit and alignment
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear care
- Submit insurance claims and process lab orders accurately
- Adjust and repair eyewear confidently
- Cross-train in other office tasks (pre-testing, front desk, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in optical or optometry settings
- Comfort with insurance billing and vision benefits
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of HIPAA, lens products, and eyewear trends
- A team player who’s adaptable, organized, and willing to help with front desk or support duties as needed—we’re a close-knit office and value flexibility and collaboration
- Someone who understands the expectations of a premium client experience and brings integrity, attention to detail, and a warm, polished presence to every interaction
