Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity and prevent security breaches
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access
- Manage access control by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies with appropriate action and communication
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and tact
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate care until emergency services arrive
- Document all security-related activities through detailed reports and logs for accountability and review
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable but not required
- Certification in first aid and CPR from recognized organizations is preferred
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring systems
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or respond swiftly across large areas as needed
