CMCA is seeking a fun, loving, and passionate licensed 4th Grade General Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and support the academic and social development of children in the crucial fourth-grade year. Your expertise in curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management will be essential in delivering a comprehensive educational experience that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

Duties
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies.
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
- Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and tutoring sessions.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and individualized support for students.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support early childhood education initiatives and early intervention programs.
- Mentor new teachers or teaching assistants to promote professional growth within the school community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education preferred.
- Valid teaching license or certification for elementary education in accordance with state or regional regulations.
- Proven classroom experience working with children in elementary grades, especially within private or Montessori school settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology into daily lessons.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues while demonstrating professionalism and cultural sensitivity. Pay: From $49,000.00 per year
