Immediate positions available at The Purple Onion, an independent restaurant and live music venue featuring a locally sourced, Mediterranean-inspired menu with an elevated wine list and craft cocktails. You'll work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced environment where the goal is simple: deliver the best dining experience to every guest who walks through our door.
We have part-time and full-time front of house positions available year-round. Experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using our POS system with clarity and efficiency
- Guide guests through our menu, recommend specials, and enhance the overall dining experience
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage table turns efficiently, assist with bussing, and uphold sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Stay knowledgeable about food safety protocols and proper food handling practices
What We're Looking For
- Customer service experience, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong communication skills and a genuine focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a busy environment
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- A positive attitude and team-first mentality
