We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager & Videographer to help expand our digital presence and create compelling content that engages musicians worldwide.
Position Overview
This unique hybrid role combines strategic social media management with hands-on video production. The social media management aspects of the position may be performed remotely; however, regular on-site attendance at our Savannah facility is required for video production activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media initiatives that increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support sales growth, while also producing high-quality video content that showcases our products, artists, and brand story.
Because much of our video content features company founder and president Jody Espina, candidates must be available to work on-site for video shoots conducted in our showroom and production facility. Flexibility in scheduling is important, as filming schedules may occasionally be influenced by artist visits, trade shows, and touring commitments.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms.
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging content aligned with brand objectives.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns designed to increase global brand awareness and support sales growth.
- Monitor social media performance, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements. Build and maintain strong engagement with our community of musicians, dealers, artists, and customers.
- Stay current with social media trends, platform changes, and best practices.
Videography & Content Production
- Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality video content for social media, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot professional audio and video equipment.
- Collaborate on creative concepts, set design, and content production strategies.
- Produce content featuring products, artist demonstrations, educational material, interviews, and company events.
- Ensure all content reflects the quality and professionalism of the JodyJazz brand.
Qualifications
- Proven track record developing and executing successful social media strategies for a recognized brand or organization.
- Demonstrated success growing audience engagement, increasing brand visibility, and supporting revenue growth through social media initiatives.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics, content planning, and audience development.
- Exceptional written and visual communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in video and audio equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with set design and modern digital content production techniques.
- Advanced proficiency with video editing software and post-production workflows.
- Strong understanding of lighting, sound, composition, and visual storytelling.
General Requirements
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexible availability to accommodate content creation schedules, artist visits, company events, trade shows, and the touring schedule of company leadership.
- Passion for music, musicians, and creative content production is highly desirable.
- Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Savannah, Georgia, or be willing to relocate.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time position (approximately 30 hours per week).
