Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helper to assist skilled carpenters and construction professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow within the construction and restoration industry, supporting a variety of projects that range from remodeling and framing to restoration and fabrication. As a Helper, you will be integral to ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting schematics to support project planning
- Support carpenters with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and metal stud framing tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Help with concrete forming, masonry, roofing, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration projects
- Perform heavy lifting and assist with the transportation of materials such as rebar, fixtures, drywall, and other building components
- Support the installation of plumbing, electrical systems, fixtures, mold remediation efforts, and other remodeling activities
- Follow safety protocols on-site including caulking, siding installation, water damage restoration procedures, and general site cleanup
Requirements
- Prior construction site experience or hands-on work in related fields such as manufacturing or remodeling is preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and construction safety standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in carpentry and construction trades
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Experience in specific areas is advantageous but not mandatory
- MUST be able to accurately read tape measure and cut according to measurements

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
