Summary
We are seeking a Cafeteria Worker to join our team at Jeremiah Academy. This role is essential in ensuring that our students receive nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment. Your contributions will directly support the well-being and satisfaction of our students.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria and kitchen areas.
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service to students and staff during meal service.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
Requirements
- Experience in food handling and food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with students and staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed.
