Join our team as a community based Pediatric Occupational Therapist, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. In this vital role, you will implement personalized occupational therapy IEP goals for home school families who utilize the Jon Peterson Scholarship.
Duties
- Implement evidence-based treatment plans focused on enhancing daily living skills, motor coordination, sensory integration, and social participation.
- Collaborate with families and other members of student's team to provide OT services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical notes within electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with ODEW policies (Daily notes, Quarterly progress notes)
Skills
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations in outpatient clinics, schools.
- Skilled in developing individualized care plans that incorporate evidence-based practices for children with disabilities or neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Excellent client communication skills to effectively engage children and educate families about therapy goals and progress.
- Experience working with students with special education needs and implementing occupational therapy programming.
Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
