Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and public areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance throughout the property.
- Support housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and equipment efficiently across various hotel areas.
- Conduct routine custodial tasks including trash removal, restocking amenities, and deep cleaning of common spaces.
- Maintain safety and sanitation protocols in all cleaning activities, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects when needed, utilizing specialized equipment for deep cleans or large-scale maintenance.
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a smooth operation.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment safely and effectively.
