Smiley Homemaker & Companionship LLC provides professional in-home homemaker, companionship, and supportive services designed to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful care and companionship to clients.
- Assist with activities of daily living according to the client’s service plan and applicable requirements.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal-care needs when authorized.
- Assist with mobility, ambulation, and transfers when trained and appropriate.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and activities when assigned.
- Provide medication reminders according to the service plan and applicable requirements.
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, behavior, or safety.
- Maintain client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Complete accurate shift notes and required documentation.
- Follow Smiley policies, client service plans, and supervisor instructions.
Qualifications
- CNA: Current Florida CNA certification.
- HHA: Current HHA qualification/training as required for the position.
- Previous home-care or caregiving experience is preferred.
- Must be dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and families.
- Must meet applicable background-screening and employment requirements.
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assignment.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
