WELDER
Job Purpose:
Fabricates components by reading and understanding drawings and determining appropriate requirements; welding parts while in flat, vertical and overhead positions.
Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Proficient in welding steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
May travel to customer locations to weld on site.
Skills/Qualifications:
TIG/MIG Welding and Fabrication, Ability to read and understand blueprints and work from drawings, Basic Safety, Equipment Maintenance, Power Tools, Lifting, Analyzing Information, Dependability, Independence, Customer Service.
Candidate having their own tools is required.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Minimum experience of 5 years.
Vocational or Technical School Welding Certificate a plus.
Benefits include medical insurance, vacation pay and holiday pay. Work weeks are 40+ hrs.
QTM, Inc. is a fabrication shop which specializes in precision machining, welding, fabricating, and abrasive waterjet machining. We provide products to a variety of industries which include, but are not limited to the aerospace, military and pharmaceutical industries. It should be noted that we are currently not in need of iron workers and pipefitters.
