Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving high-quality beverages. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils, in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including preparing pastries or light snacks for customers.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while managing time effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others as part of a collaborative team environment.
