About the Role
As a Precision Tooling Specialist, you will be instrumental in the development and maintenance of high-accuracy manufacturing equipment. You will leverage your expertise in CNC and manual machining to produce complex components, ensuring our production lines operate with maximum efficiency and precision.
Responsibilities-
Interpret complex engineering blueprints and CAD models to execute high-precision tooling fabrication.

Operate and program CNC and manual machinery to manufacture jigs, fixtures, and specialized dies.

Perform rigorous quality inspections using CMMs, micrometers, and height gauges to guarantee dimensional conformance.

Diagnose tooling wear and perform critical repairs to minimize production downtime.

Optimize machining sequences and setup methods to enhance overall manufacturing throughput.

Collaborate with engineering teams on root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain a safe, organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
Qualifications-
3-5 years of hands-on experience in a tool room or precision machining environment.

Advanced proficiency in both manual and CNC machining operations.

Strong mechanical aptitude with a deep understanding of tolerances and fits.

Expertise in metrology and the use of precision measurement instrumentation.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform repetitive tasks with high consistency.

Completion of a formal Tool & Die apprenticeship or Journeyman certification.

Demonstrated experience with CAD/CAM software for tooling design and programming.

Proven track record in metal stamping, forming, and progressive die maintenance.

Strong troubleshooting skills regarding complex mechanical assemblies.
