The HVAC Lead Installer is responsible for overseeing and completing the installation of
heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This
role leads on-site installation crews, ensures high-quality workmanship, provides technical
expertise, and maintains exceptional customer satisfaction. The Lead Installer ensures all work
complies with manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and company quality
benchmarks.
Qualifications
Required Criteria:
- Experience: 3–5+ years of dedicated HVAC installation experience.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of modern HVAC machinery, ductwork layouts,
and field best practices.
- Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a consistently clean driving history.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work comfortably in tight spaces (attics, crawls, or
rooftops).
This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. This position requires a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
This position requires a minimum of six months prior HVAC installation experience. Requires a high school diploma and/or any equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the job. Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable under our company insurance policy.
