Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional who holds an NFPA-96 certification for Fire, Life, and Safety (must be already certified) to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct inspections of fire suppression systems, including fire sprinklers and alarms, ensuring compliance with NFPA-96 standards and local regulations
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire safety equipment within construction sites or existing facilities
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate fire safety measures into system design and building plans
- Perform detailed construction inspections to verify that fire safety systems are installed correctly and functioning properly
- Provide expert guidance on system design modifications or upgrades to enhance fire protection efficacy
- Assist in sales efforts related to fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler fitting by demonstrating system capabilities and compliance benefits
- Coordinate with security teams to ensure comprehensive safety coverage across all operational areas
Requirements
- Must possess an active NFPA-96 certification for Fire, Life, and Safety (certified already)
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting, fire alarm installation or maintenance, or related construction inspection roles
- Strong knowledge of system design principles for fire suppression and alarm systems
- Familiarity with security protocols and how they integrate with fire safety measures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and building codes relevant to fire safety systems
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with construction teams, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Valid certifications in construction inspection or related fields are a plus
