SUMMARY
Performs routine clerical work, answers telephones, receives the public, and provides assistance to clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
- Answer telephone and direct callers to the appropriate associate or department.
- Receive the public and answer questions; respond to inquiries from clients and others as appropriate and refer, when necessary, to the appropriate person, or department.
- Deliver mail to and pick up mail from Post Office.
- Process and distribute mail.
- Enter data into appropriate computer system.
- Assist public with the use of facilities.
- Notify and/or deliver incoming packages to end recipient.
- Maintain safe and clean reception area.
- Process certificates of coverage.
- Assist others in Agency with clerical tasks as needed.

- Education/Experience
High School diploma (or GED) required
Minimum one year experience in a clerical role required.
Prior receptionist experience preferred.
- Language Ability
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information in memos, reports, E-mails, and other documents; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to clients, employees, vendors and members of the community.
- Math Ability
Basic math skills required.
- Reasoning Ability
Basic reasoning skills required.
- Certificates and Licenses
No certifications required.
- Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not supervise others.
