Overview
As a Front Desk Agent at the Hilton Garden Inn - Aiken, you will be a member of the Front Office team and always striving to provide services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from the moment of check-in to departure. A Guest Service Agent truly influences the first impressions of our Guests and therefore, is responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling reservations and payments accurately.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions using multi-line phone systems.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each day.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Previous experience at a Hilton branded hotel is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software (PEP) is an advantage.
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
- Knowledge of guest relations best practices within the Hilton Brand.
- Ability to work flexible hours, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, 7am-3pm (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
