Apartment Maintenance-Make Ready Technician – Livingston Parish

Responsibilities Perform apartment make ready duties to prepare vacant units for new residents Complete painting, cleaning, minor repairs, and touch up work in vacant apartments Inspect units and identify maintenance items that need attention before move in Perform minor electrical repairs including replacing light switches and light fixtures Complete minor plumbing repairs in occupied and vacant apartments Replace toilets, faucets, and other fixtures as needed Clear drainage clogs and troubleshoot basic plumbing issues Clean and maintain dryer vents and ducts Repair doors, cabinets, blinds, and other apartment features Assist with general grounds and property maintenance as needed Complete additional tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance or general maintenance experience required Make ready experience preferred Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and supplies Ability to work independently and as part of a team
