Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing team! This role supports a dynamic neurology practice and requires weekly travel between our Plano, McKinney, Sherman, and Denison locations.
Weekly Schedule (Travel Required)
- Monday: Plano (Preston Rd)
- Tuesday: McKinney
- Wednesday/Thursday: Sherman
- Friday: Denison

What You’ll Do
- Room patients, take vitals, and accurately enter information into the medical record
- Answer inbound phone calls and assist patients with questions and needs
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor
- Support patient rights to privacy, respect, and quality care
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers
- Assist with CPAP/BiPAP management, including pulling compliance reports and ordering equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required
- Sleep specialty experience preferred
- Proficient typing skills and strong computer knowledge
- Ability to learn medical systems and protocols quickly
- EMR experience preferred (eClinicalWorks)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual is a plus
