We are seeking an experienced Tree Climber with strong rigging and roping skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least four (4) years of professional tree climbing experience and be capable of safely performing technical pruning and removals in a variety of settings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time, year-round employment

- California Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours per year after a 90-day waiting period

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years professional tree climbing experience
- Excellent knowledge of tree rigging, roping systems, and safe removal techniques
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work safely at heights and on a variety of terrain
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Commitment to safe work practices
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and hazardous tree removals
- Cut away dead, obstructive, or excess branches from trees and shrubbery
- Utilize chainsaws and rigging systems to safely remove limbs and sections of trees
- Climb trees and work at heights using approved climbing and safety equipment
- Operate climbing gear and aerial lift equipment (bucket trucks) when required
- Remove debris and transport large limbs and brush for disposal
- Clear work sites, streets, and grounds of woody and herbaceous materials, including tree stumps, fallen trees, and limbs
- Reshape and prune trees to improve health, structure, and appearance
- Inspect, clean, and maintain tools and equipment
- Work effectively with crew members to complete jobs safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all company safety policies and industry best practices
- Perform other related duties as assigned
