About the Position
CB Builders is looking for experienced, dependable handymen and small construction professionals to join our growing team. We’re looking for individuals who can work independently, represent our company professionally, and complete jobs with little to no supervision.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has their own work and wants to fill open days with additional jobs, or someone looking for consistent part-time work with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
● Complete residential handyman and repair jobs independently.
● Communicate professionally with customers.
● Diagnose common home repair issues and recommend practical solutions.
● Maintain a clean and organized work area.
● Take before-and-after photos of completed work.
● Keep customers informed throughout the job.
● Represent CB Builders with professionalism and quality workmanship.
Types of Work
● Drywall repair and painting
● Carpentry and trim installation
● Door, lock, and hardware installation
● Flooring repairs and installation
● Basic plumbing repairs
● Basic electrical repairs (switches, outlets, light fixtures)
● TV mounting and shelving
● Window AC installation
● Storm door installation
● Caulking and sealing
● General home maintenance and repairs
Requirements
● Minimum 3 years of handyman or construction experience.
● Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
● Own reliable vehicle.
● Own basic tools needed for handyman work.
● Strong problem-solving skills.
● Professional appearance and positive attitude.
● Excellent customer service and communication skills.
● Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
● Ability to lift and carry materials as needed.
