Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent guest services and ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems, coordinating seating arrangements efficiently
- Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately
- Support food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation and hygiene protocols during guest interactions
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating flow, and payment processing efficiently
