Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their needs and preferences
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and detailed explanations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell products by highlighting benefits and recommending complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting inventory checks
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or scheduling consultations
- Assist with product demonstrations to educate customers about new or featured items
- Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and retail math calculations during transactions
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a cannabis dispensary or similar retail environment
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey product information and foster positive customer interactions
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for efficient transaction processing
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management practices
- Experience in customer service roles emphasizing professionalism, patience, and active listening
