Duties:
- Implement behavior management plans for young children with special needs
- Provide individualized support and interventions to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans and behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
Skills: Bachelor or Masters degree in a Human Service field or closely related field is required. Certified Registered Behavior Technicians are also welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles
