Position Summary
Dynamic Health Care, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team. This position will be primarily hospital-based, working with post-surgical and rehab patients to restore function, promote independence, and enhance quality of life. The role may also include providing occasional home care visits if desired, allowing for a diverse and rewarding clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients’ functional abilities, needs, and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide interventions to improve patients’ daily living skills, mobility, and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs, adaptive techniques, and equipment use.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with company and hospital policies.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT).
- Licensure: Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Michigan.
- Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred; home care experience a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and patient engagement skills.
- Other Requirements: EHR familiarity and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
