Overview
Mr. Handyman is looking for an experienced, professional Craftsman/Handyman Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently complete a wide variety of residential and light commercial repair projects.
This position is ideal for someone who is well-rounded across multiple trades, communicates well with customers, and enjoys a different challenge every day.
What You'll Do
- Perform residential and light commercial repairs and maintenance
- Meet with customers and provide solutions for their repair needs
- Estimate labor requirements and project timelines
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Communicate professionally with customers and office staff
- Identify additional repair opportunities that benefit the customer
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
Skills We're Looking For
Experience in several of the following areas:
- Carpentry and framing
- Drywall repair, texture matching, and painting
- Door and window installation and adjustments
- Trim carpentry and hardware installation
- Tile installation and repair
- Light plumbing repairs
- Light electrical work
- General home maintenance and repair
The ideal candidate is confident in their abilities but willing to learn new skills and tackle projects outside their comfort zone when needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential construction, remodeling, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Own basic hand tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
