Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about drink selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink orders and ensure timely service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cocktail recipes, and seasonal ingredients to enhance the beverage menu.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Uphold a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests while adhering to fine dining standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or within the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent math skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and handling cash transactions.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments is advantageous.
- A passion for the culinary arts and creativity in developing new drink recipes is highly desirable.
