Gain Hands-On Experience in Residential Nursing
We are seeking a Nursing Intern to support our Residential Nursing team serving youth in mental and behavioral health stabilization programs.
In this role, you will gain hands-on clinical experience in a residential treatment setting—working alongside nurses, clinicians, and a multidisciplinary team. You’ll learn how to support medication management, assist with health assessments, and contribute to a safe, structured environment for youth with complex needs.
This internship is ideal for students pursuing a career in nursing with an interest in pediatric or behavioral health settings.

What You’ll Learn & Do
With guidance from the Nursing team, you will:
- Observe and assist with medication management processes
- Support health-related documentation, including assessments and observations
- Assist with triage of minor injuries under supervision
- Administer medications, including injections and vaccines, as permitted and supervised
- Learn and apply standing medical orders and clinical protocols
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team environment supporting youth care
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment grounded in the Sanctuary Model® (safety, emotional intelligence, open communication, and social learning)
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in alignment with healthcare standards
