Job Summary
The Director of Preconstruction & Estimating serves as a strategic executive responsible for estimating excellence, preconstruction leadership, procurement strategy, value engineering, client engagement, and successful project transitions.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead all estimating and preconstruction operations.
- Develop conceptual, schematic, GMP and hard-bid estimates.
- Guide value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Support business development and executive presentations.
- Develop procurement strategies and subcontractor relationships.
- Mentor and grow estimating staff.
- Partner with operations for seamless project turnover.
- Drive continuous process improvement and KPI reporting.
Qualifications
- 10+ years commercial estimating/preconstruction experience.
- 5+ years leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with Design-Build and CMAR.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office, and estimating software.
