Maintenance Mechanic (Junior, Regular & Senior) – Job Summary
1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts available
We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined Junior, Maintenance Mechanics, and Senior Maintenance Mechanics to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. These positions are responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, and warehouse equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and are committed to minimizing downtime while maintaining a safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
- Repair, replace, and install machine components as needed.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Inspect equipment to identify potential maintenance concerns before failures occur.
- Maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and other mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documentation.
- Complete work orders and accurately document repairs and maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to support efficient operations.
Qualifications by LevelJunior Maintenance Mechanic
- 0–2 years of maintenance or mechanical experience, or technical/trade school training.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
Maintenance Mechanic
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance independently.
- Familiarity with conveyors, production equipment, and machine operation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Senior Maintenance Mechanic
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (programming experience is a plus).
- Ability to mentor junior mechanics and provide technical guidance.
- Experience installing, modifying, and improving production equipment.
- Strong understanding of predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical degree or trade certification preferred.
- Welding, fabrication, and machining experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Comfortable standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in varying warehouse conditions.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
