Job Summary
In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.
No prior experience in AI is required—your expertise in materials science and engineering is what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret scientific data from experiments, technical datasets, and research publications in materials science and engineering.
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to identify advances, methodologies, and challenges in materials characterization.
- Annotate and organize technical datasets with detailed scientific context to support AI model training.
- Develop realistic case studies and scenarios representing practical applications in materials science, metallurgy, and related fields.
- Provide clear written and verbal explanations of materials properties, behavior, and scientific reasoning.
- Review project deliverables to ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Collaborate remotely with scientific contributors using digital collaboration and documentation tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a materials specialization.
- Expertise in materials characterization techniques such as microscopy, spectroscopy, or mechanical testing.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex scientific and experimental data.
- Experience conducting technical literature reviews and synthesizing scientific findings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience reviewing scientific documents, datasets, or technical deliverables for quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience contributing to AI, scientific data annotation, or technical knowledge management projects.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration platforms and digital documentation workflows.
- Background in industrial research, product development, or advanced materials engineering.
Start Timeline & Availability

Pay: $80.00 - $130.00 per hour
