Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pans, and food production appliances.
- Maintain strict food safety standards by following sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Assist with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish modifications to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support high-volume food production during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail and consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation, proper plating, and smooth kitchen operations.
- Adhere to recipe guidelines, portion control, and food presentation standards to ensure uniformity across all dishes.
Requirements
- Skilled in various cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation for high-volume production.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitizing procedures, and proper kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace.
- Strong knife skills with an understanding of recipe adherence and food production processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve guests professionally and work effectively within a team environment.
