ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES
- Triage patients by documenting Chief Complaints, Medical History and other relevant information in the patient's electronic medical record.
- Assist in preparing patients for radiologic procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques.
- Assist with performing orthopedic x-ray procedures.
- Assist with processing images and review for proper identification and quality control.
- Assist physician with prescribed patient treatments.
- Assist with in-office procedures.
- Complete forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed.
- Follow documentation procedures with thorough chart documenting in EMR.
- Communicate with outside providers to schedule outgoing referrals.
- Schedule diagnostic procedures and obtain authorizations when needed.
- Answer calls and respond to messages from patients.
- Clean/Prep exam rooms.
- Autoclave/Sterile Instruments experience a plus.
- Cast and DME experience a plus.
- Assist with medical supply ordering, stocking, and inventory maintenance.
- Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
- Dependable attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations.

- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

EXPERIENCE
- 5+ Year Clinic/Medical Assistant Experience
- X-Ray Experience Preferred
- Fast-paced clinic experience
- EMR/EHR
- MIPS EMR Entry
- Computer skills (i.e., Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use)
- Ability to work independently, be goal directed and have strong organizational skills
- Multitasking without compromising quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including proper telephone etiquette, face-to-face interactions, and electronic communications
- Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, display energy and drive in performing daily responsibilities
- Flexible as well as easily adapt to a changing work environment which will require ongoing maintenance of job-related skills/activities
- Salary depends on experience
